Melissa Malone, Administrative Assistant
Hi! My name is Melissa Malone. I have just celebrated my one year anniversary here at St. Peter's UCC. I have to say, it is so nice to work with such a wonderful congregation and pastor. This job has been a blessing!
I am married to Bret, and we have 2 children, Michael, 14, and Morgan, 10. We are life-long residents of New Haven. I also work part-time dispatching drivers at UPS in Union, Missouri. In what little free time I have left, I enjoy spending it with my family going out to eat, catching a movie, or just hanging out at home. Weird fact about myself: I could listen to Christmas Music year round!
Sandra Engelbrecht, Organist and Choir Directorjsengel@fidnet.com
Sandra Engelbreaht grew up at St. Peter's and played the piano in Sunday School about the age of 10. In addition, Rev. Harry Hein would open the organ and encourage Sandy to play and that was all it took to make it a goal. In 1968, she had the opportunity to be a substitute organist and early in 1969 became the regular organist and choir director. Piano lessons as a young child got her started on a lifetime of playing thorugh her years in the New Haven School System, doing volunteer accompanying at the school and teaching piano to others. In addition, Sandy directs the New Haven Community Choir in two annual concerts.
Sandy and her husband John were married at St. Peter's in 1959. They have two children, Laurie (husband Rick Steinbeck) and David (wife Jodie) and four grandchildren. Sandy in addition to her music activities loves following the scholastic and sport activities of the grandchildren and has a real passion for the art of quilting.
